My personal retrospective of the year 2020
The highlights of the year
I retain in chronological order:

  • New Year 2020 in Carcassonne,
  • Valentine’s Day in duet with Christophe,
  • The gathering of sisters on March 7, 2020 at Folles saisons in Toulouse,
  • My participation in the demonstration of March 8, 2020 for the International Day of Fight for Women’s Rights in Toulouse ,< / li>
  • The consequences of the first confinement due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic on daily life: school at home and trips outside the drip mainly,
  • Immersion in Occitan at home,
  • Culinary trials with a courgette cocotte, a goat pie and a terrine,
  • Children’s Easter eggs hunt in the garden,
  • The Travel and Knowledgecycle, a series of five lectures led by Eric Lowen from the ALDERAN association,
  • My 42 years old celebrated at home with a nice apple crumble,
  • Reading the book Short answers to big questions by Stephen Hawking,
  • A delicious clafoutis with cherry concocted by Christophe,
  • The end of my personal writing project,
  • The visit of Châteaux de Lastours with my husband, my brother-in-law, my sister-in-law and my almost one year old niece,
  • A family meal at the restaurant named l’Enclos and a walk along the Canal du Midi,
  • Family holidays at Luz Saint-Sauveur in August,
  • My participation at the Forum for feminists to think tomorrow, organized by the World March of Women in September in Toulouse,
  • My participation at the Autumn University 2020, organized by the Cercle Zététique Languedoc-Roussillon (CZLR) association in Montpellier,
  • Mourning because of tragic ends, the death of my husband’s maternal grandmother and her funeral in Touraine,
  • Reading the book Do never resign by Gisèle Halimi,
  • The assassination of the teacher Samuel Paty, a discussion on expression freedom with my eldest son Nathan and my husband Christophe and the writing by my son of the first article of our constitution pinned on a table in his room with the OPHERIC method,
  • My participation at the videoconference Happycraty, from Epicure to Julien Peron, led by Françoise Mariotti and organized by the Cercle Zététique Languedoc-Roussillon (CZLR) association,
  • The medical examination of my oldest son Nathan confirming that he is now one centimeter taller than me and one shoe size larger than me,
  • Christophe’s Christmas present: a model of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 ship from the Star Trek fictional universe, that I dreamed of having one for a long time,
  • New Year 2021 near Carcassonne with two beautiful walks around the lake La Cavayère.

And all year round:

And too… I add darkness to this very eventful year 2020, because it is marked nationally and internationally by the coronavirus pandemic: COVID-19, causing confinements, deconfinements and curfews which severely disrupting social life around the world.
